Full bodied and creamy in the mid palate and very complex. One of the few chilean whites that will improve over the years.
This is a wine fermented 50% in American oak barrels and 50% in stainless steel. 15 % goes through malolactic fermentation. The process is carried out under controlled temperature conditions to maintain the fruit aromas. The resulting wine is a beautiful pale gold colour with shades of green. Its aroma blends butter, hints of vanilla and tropical fruits (banana). This is a fresh wine, fruity, with good body and balance, with a creamy and complex mid palate and an elegant long finish. Good with white meats, fresh salads and fish.
|Wine maker notes
|Vinified with clean must separating three different lots using three different strains of selected yeasts: D\47, Montrachet and native. Fermented and aged in French oak for 1 year, 40% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. Grapes sourced from Casablanca Valley. The wine remains in its original cask for one year using a monthly batonage to enhance buttery flavours and complexity which emphasizes the union of refined flavors of tropical fruit and aromas.
