Wine Spectator 91 points - (50% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 20% pinot meunier; LLAJCD05842): Light, bright orange. Fresh redcurrant and strawberry aromas are complemented by notes of orange zest and anise. Brisk, mineral-accented red fruit flavors are slightly pinched but gain depth with air. Finishes with a bitter blood orange quality and firm grip.
Fresh and creamy in texture, this offers a lightly smoky overtone to the flavors of strawberry tart, pastry cream, grated coconut and ground spice. Drink now through 2018. -AN
This is a beautiful, full rose that is rich and shows a fine balance between acidity and fruitiness. This bottling is also mature with toastiness coming through, giving a softer, rounder character. There is weight, and great acidity on the finish.
The color of ballet shoes, this offers a floral nose partnered with a rich palate of flavor, subtly woven with brioche, toasted nut, black raspberry, apricot and graphite notes. This vibrant wine maintains a sense of elegance throughout. Drink now through 2018. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.
