Wine Spectator 93 points - A dense red, displaying dark currant, fig and blackberry fruit, layered with charcoal, grilled savory and tobacco notes. An iron edge underpins the finish, adding length and cut to match the heft. A serious Cabernet blend. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Best from 2015 through 2020. 3,750 cases made.-JM

Vinous 89 points - (15% alcohol; 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Shiraz and 9% Merlot): Bright medium red. Cassis, plum and exotic nutty oak on the nose, plus hints of herbs and leather. Plump, rich, fine-grained and sweetly oaky, with some very ripe currant and mocha flavors juxtaposed with cooler menthol and herb qualities; there’s something slightly stewy lurking. Finishes with serious tongue-dusting tannins and noteworthy length.
