Made from 100% malted barley grown in the Pacific Northwest, fermented with ale yeast and double pot distilled and matured in lightly charred full size American oak barrels. This two year old whiskey is medium amber in color, the nose starts of with a light barley note along with maple, honey, vanilla, light cinnamon, and oak. The full sized barrel does keep the oak on the nose subtle and balances itself much better with other aromas. The palate is barley forward with honey, maple, cinnamon, caramel, ginger, dried fruit, and oak. There is a rich lushness to the mouthfeel and remains consistent until the end.
