The color of this wine is a dark ruby red with slight shades of violet. An intense, complex nose with bright scents of ripened cherries, figs, strawberries and oak result in a taste that has lovely ripe fruit and full body flavors. Light acid and with nice depth of flavors. Good varietal characters are noted and oak barrel maturing result in a harmonious rounding of flavors.
