It’s another fine rendition of this perennially reliable cuvée, delivering aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, nectarine, white flowers and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping palate. Built around lively acids and complemented by a pillowy mousse, it’s seamless and elegant, with a touch less overt richness than the 2015 base. While it’s approachable on release, it will be even better with a few years on cork.
