Made from 100% Sangiovese grown in the Ramitello and Martarosa vineyards and hand-harvested in October, this wine is aged in stainless steel and large oak barrels for six months to achieve greater smoothness and softness while preserving the supple fruit-forward characteristics of Sangiovese.

A dusting of violet candies and crushed chalk gives way to dried strawberries and minty herbs as the 2021 Sangiovese unwinds in the glass. It sweeps across with ripe wild berry fruits and mineral tones, all elevated by a core of brisk acidity. The 2021 finishes long and with cheek-puckering tension, leaving nuances of sour citrus and cherry to fade slowly.
