Original Spiced Rum

It's become fashionable to hate on the Captain, but the original in the spiced-rum category has a pronounced vanilla scent accented with clove and allspice notes. The sweet caramel flavor is one-dimensional, but it's easy to see why it's endured all these years: Mixed with Coke (or other mixers) and lots of ice, it blends right in and becomes easy sipping.
