Darkly colored, this baby brunello opens with aromas of menthol, espresso and plum. The one-dimensional palate is surprisingly dense for the vintage, offering black cherry and clove alongside polished tannins.

Vinous and estery on the nose, with a lot of roses and red cherries. The attack is firm and tight, with a medium body, crisp if not zesty acidity and a chalky, austere finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.
